Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer to lead identity and access management efforts across the enterprise. You will consolidate IdPs, implement SSO, and design secure authentication and authorization strategies to support M&A integrations and day‑to‑day operations.

Responsibilities include automating workflows, enforcing security policies, collaborating with IT and security teams, and providing Tier 3 support during integrations while maintaining documentation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM workstreams for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures.
• Consolidate disparate identity providers (IdPs) into a unified enterprise SSO platform.
• Design and execute cross-domain authentication and federation strategies to migrate or merge user populations under tight timelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions including SSO, Identity Lifecycle Management, IGA, and PAM.
• Develop automated workflows and API-driven integrations to streamline onboarding, transitions, and offboarding (LCM).
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for IAM platform configuration.
• Design and enforce Enterprise SSO Security Policies, including MFA, Least Privilege access, conditional Access Policies, and RBAC frameworks.
• Conduct access reviews, support IT compliance audits, ensure systems comply with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
• Troubleshoot, resolve identity and access issues, provide Tier 3 engineering support during integrations.
