Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to partner with clients, designers and sellers to craft secure, scalable programs across data protection, cloud security, identity, and more. You will translate complex security needs into pragmatic solutions while driving sales of Optiv services and technology partners.

The role requires deep security knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to travel ~25% to engage with clients across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Identity and Access Management.
• CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC or other relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience speaking and evangelizing technology vision at events.
• Ability to travel around 25% or as needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive generation of services and technologies business to meet quota with account teams.
• Understand client security environments, operations, needs, and risk appetite.
• Participate in Field Center of Excellence for the domain and position Optiv services with partners.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities and qualify leads for scope and proposals.
• Articulate how Optiv portfolio meets client needs at leadership level.
• Stay updated on industry trends to inform clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with service delivery to align expectations and materials.
• Develop security roadmaps and strategies aligned with client goals and budget.
