Job summary

Optiv Security Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor who combines sales skills with deep security knowledge to design secure, scalable programs for clients. You will focus on Threat Management and related domains, partnering with sales to meet quarterly quotas and drive cross-sell opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in information security with certifications and strong presentation skills, and they should be comfortable traveling up to 25% and working remotely with client teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in information security focused on Threat Management.
• Experience as a consulting advisor, architect, or engineer is preferred.
• Professional cybersecurity certs (CISSP/CISA/CRISC/CISM/GIAC) preferred.
• Ability to articulate security vision to executives and clients.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Drive services and technologies revenue in partnership with account teams.
• Position Optiv solutions to meet client security needs and budgets.
• Qualify leads, scope proposals, and support RFI/RFP processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver secure, pragmatic programs.
• Develop roadmaps and security strategies aligned with business goals.
