Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to design pragmatic, scalable security programs for assigned clients. You will blend sales acumen with broad security expertise to tailor solutions across Threat Management and related domains.

The role emphasizes advisory leadership, collaboration with sales and service delivery, and ongoing thought leadership to strengthen client security postures and drive growth for Optiv.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five years in information security focused on Threat Management.
• Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management/Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics/eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, Asset Management.
• Professional cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM).
• Willingness to travel around 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive the generation services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives in partnership with account teams.
• Understand client security environment, operations, needs and risk appetite to map to Optiv solutions.
• Facilitate thought leadership and coordinate with service delivery to present a cohesive security program.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities across clients and partners and support proposal management.
• Interface with clients at leadership level to articulate how Optiv's portfolio meets their objectives.
