Job summary

Optiv Security Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor responsible for designing security solutions for assigned clients.

This remote role collaborates with sales to align security programs with client initiatives and Optiv services, focusing on Threat Management and related domains such as data protection, cloud security, endpoints, identity, and SOC. The ideal candidate has at least five years in information security, with certification experience and strong leadership in client-facing

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management.
• Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management/Hunting, and related certifications (CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC).
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the generation of services and technologies business to meet quota with account teams.
• Follow Optiv SOPs to ensure consistent success.
• Understand client security environment, needs and risk appetite.
• Identify security concerns and map to Optiv solutions across domains.
