Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor to act as a trusted partner to our clients, blending sales acumen with deep security expertise to design scalable security programs across cloud, network, OT, and SASE environments.

You will work with a dedicated sales team and domain specialists to tailor pragmatic security solutions, lead thought leadership, and provide consistent security guidance on opportunities that drive value for clients and Optiv alike.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in information security roles designing secure networks, OT, and cloud environments.
• Experience with firewalls, segmentation, ZTNA, SASE, CNAPP, WAF, DDoS, load balancing, and posture management.
• Minimum of five (5) years architecting, building and maintaining network security technologies in production environments, with HA and auto scaling.
• Self-starter with strong communication and collaboration in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design security solutions for client environments aligned with their initiatives.
• Advise clients and sales teams on secure networking and cloud strategies.
• Lead security solution discussions with domain experts and partners.
• Provide security expertise on sales opportunities.
