Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to act as a trusted security partner for clients. This remote role focuses on Threat Management and security program design across multiple domains, working with sales teams to drive value.

The SA will leverage expertise in data protection, cloud security, and endpoint security to tailor pragmatic security solutions for diverse environments, with up to ~25% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and/or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years in an information security role focused on Threat Management.
• Expertise in Application Security Tools, Vulnerability Management, Threat Management / Hunting, Enterprise Incident Management, Forensics / eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence Platforms, Asset Management.
• CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, GIAC or other relevant professional cybersecurity certifications preferred.
• Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills; ability to travel around 25% or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive generation of services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas with account teams.
• Understand client security environment and risk appetite; map to Optiv solutions across domains.
• Position Optiv services and partner products to deliver client value.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities and manage proposals and RFI/RFP responses.
• Architect and design complete security programs aligning with client goals and budgets.
• Maintain advisory relationships with key client stakeholders and encourage thought leadership.
• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure consistent security delivery and satisfaction.
• Stay current on threat landscape and industry trends to guide clients and internal teams.
