Trane Technologies is seeking a Remote Project Developer for Key Accounts to identify, develop, and help sell profitable HVAC and digital solutions. Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field, Business, or related field.
- Experience supporting project development, project management, service solutions, turnkey delivery, or construction-related sales support.
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into practical, profitable, executable solutions.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, building systems, and the building construction industry.
- Understanding of construction methods and practices and coordination with subcontractors/service providers.
- Ability to audit existing mechanical/building systems to improve performance and outcomes.
- Strong estimating, scoping, and proposal support capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop small commercial HVAC, controls, connected building, digital, service, and turnkey solutions.
- Identify and develop profitable, executable opportunities across national owner-direct accounts.
- Assist in project scoping, concept development, and preliminary design.
- Support budgets, RFQs, and scope statements with subcontractors and providers.
- Coordinate with providers and internal teams to align on delivery expectations.
- Provide technical and solution-development support in pursuit of Trane business.
- Manage design support activities through turnover to execution teams.
- Help refine processes to improve project development efficiency across offerings.
