Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, seeks a remote Project Developer for Key Accounts to design and deliver profitable digital, service, and turnkey projects. You will collaborate with Account Managers, independent providers, and national customers to scope, estimate, and propose solutions that meet customer needs.

The role requires a four-year degree and strong skills in estimating, coordination, and communication.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field, Business, or related field.
Experience supporting project development, project management, service solutions, turnkey delivery, or construction-related sales support.
Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into practical, profitable solutions.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and building systems.
Familiarity with design software and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop small commercial HVAC, controls, connected building, digital, service, and turnkey solutions.
Partner with Account Managers to identify profitable opportunities across national owner-direct accounts.
Assist in project scoping, concept development, and preliminary design to support sales strategy.
Support budgets, RFQs, and scope statements with subcontractors and providers.
Coordinate with stakeholders to develop executable project plans and ensure delivery alignment.
