Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Training and Technical Support Specialist to support OCC/O&M processes and develop HV training materials. This fully remote role discusses location expectations during interviewing.

The position emphasizes safety, technical training development, and collaboration with the Technical Support Supervisor and field teams. Responsibilities include creating HV training material, supporting OCC with power system analysis, reviewing HV test reports, and providing SME guidance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize work hazards and mitigate, using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective computer operation skills and ability to operate system testing applications.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a rotational on-call schedule, including weekends or after-hours.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and enforce safe practices among staff.
• Maintain safe working environment per company and industry standards.
• Develop HV technical training material with supervision and team input.
• Provide SME advice to clients and support, prepare, and present RCA findings.
• Support OCC with Power Systems Analysis and operational guidance.
• Support HV test plans and oversee technicians or subcontractors.
• Provide On-Call HV Support and daytime HV Support to OCC and Field Technicians.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M testing activities.
