Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Training and Technical Support Specialist for HV operations. This fully remote role supports daily OCC/O&M processes, develops HV training materials, and collaborates with the Technical Support Supervisor and SOLV team to deliver safe, effective electrical testing and commissioning services.

The position emphasizes safety, high voltage knowledge, and the ability to provide SME advice to clients while supporting RCA findings and NERC-related reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop others.
• Recognize work hazards and mitigate using proper tools and procedures.
• Effective English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate computer testing applications.
• Rotational on-call schedule experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working environment per company and industry standards.
• Develop HV technical training material with supervision.
• Provide On-Call HV support to OCC and field technicians.
• Remote support for EPC startup, commissioning, and O&M activities.
• Prepare and present reports and test plans as required.
