Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Director of Project Development and Strategy to lead all preconstruction activities for its High Voltage Infrastructure unit.

You will own HV bid accuracy, quality, and pricing strategy across transmission, substations, and switchyards, coordinating with BD, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to convert opportunities into well-scoped projects. This role is fully remote with location details to be discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HV/substation pricing and bid development.
• Strong ability to standardize estimating processes across multiple pursuits.
• Proven track record presenting pricing to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV preconstruction through all estimating and proposal phases.
• Own the preconstruction stage-gate process ensuring scope and cost accuracy.
• Partner with BD to shape win strategy and pricing philosophy.
• Direct take-offs, unit pricing, and labor productivity assumptions for HV scope.
• Lead constructability reviews with Engineering and Operations.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor bid solicitation and qualification.
