Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for 12kV to 500kV+ systems, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS. You will direct planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and client coordination from concept through handoff in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in electrical construction or PM, with 3+ years leading preconstruction, EPC/design-build experience, and a track record delivering projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for HV projects from 12kV to 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze bid documents.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and lead mitigation and value-engineering initiatives.
