Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is hiring an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This remote role requires heavy travel to sites nationwide and a strong commitment to safety and documentation.

The technician will learn to operate and control test equipment, produce complete test reports, and collaborate with clients, vendors, and teammates while adhering to SOLV Energy safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training and safety awareness.
• Knowledge of electrical testing SOPs could be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write and review complete test reports.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates.
• Learn and follow proper procedures for testing and testing plans.
