Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 for remote work with heavy travel to diverse job sites across the United States.

You will execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair activities in substations, BESS, and PV facilities, while prioritizing safety and thorough documentation. Responsibilities include performing tests, maintaining strict safety practices, and collaborating with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record and ability to operate company vehicle.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment through adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Handle multiple jobs simultaneously and communicate with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports of performed work.
