Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in substations, BESS, and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, test reporting, and coordinating with clients and teammates. Requires 1–3 years of electrician testing experience and ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of electrician testing experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Proven ability to recognize hazards and mitigate with proper tools and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of substation, BESS and PV equipment.
• Ensure safety best practices and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Prepare accurate documentation and test reports.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates on test activities.
• Supervise Technicians and Trainees as needed.
