Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair at substations, BESS and PV sites. This remote role involves heavy travel to diverse job sites, with location details discussed during interview.

Safety is the top priority and you will document tests and reports for client projects. Minimum 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician, valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports for work performed.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates; support on-site teams.
