Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to conduct testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to diverse job sites nationwide.

You will perform acceptance tests, collaborate with Technicians and Trainees, and ensure safety and quality procedures are followed while supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years experience as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• Familiar with Job Safety Analysis and Electrical Testing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment at remote sites.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs.
• Uphold SOLV Energy diversity and inclusion in culture.
