Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities across the U.S.

The role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites; you will perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment, support technicians, and document test results in our report software while adhering to safety and NETA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Must be able to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Enter test data into the test report software.
