Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This remote role requires heavy travel to varying jobsites, with location details discussed during interview. You will maintain safety standards, document activity, and collaborate with clients and teammates while working with a broad set of equipment per industry procedures.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports for work performed or supervised.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
