Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a remote Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting in substations, BESS and PV facilities with heavy travel to job sites. Safety is emphasized and documentation is a key deliverable.

Responsibilities include completing reports, coordinating with clients and teammates, and ensuring adherence to NETA/industry procedures while supporting field operations across multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required test reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and teammates.
• Assemble, write, and review a complete test report of the work performed.
