Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1. The role is remote with heavy travel to substations, BESS and PV facilities. Specific location details will be discussed during the interview process.

You will perform acceptance testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and reporting, while ensuring safety and quality. Collaboration with technicians and trainees is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• CPR/First Aid training and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and test reports.
• Assemble, write and review a complete test report of the work performed or supervised.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and teammates.
