Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

The role is remote with heavy travel to diverse sites across the United States. The technician will execute acceptance testing and commissioning with support from Technicians and Trainees, upholding SOLV Energy's safety and inclusion culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards
• Ability to travel 75% of time
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, inclement weather)
• CPR/First Aid training
• Job Safety Analysis
• Electrical Testing Standard Operating Procedures

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in the substation, BESS and PV facilities
• Complete a job with assistance of Technicians and Trainees
