Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with extensive travel to varying jobsites across the country.

You will perform acceptance testing, document results, and assist Technicians and Trainees. Strong safety training, clear English communication, and the ability to work at remote sites in demanding weather are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years of electrician testing technician experience in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid training and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Execute acceptance testing of equipment in the substation and BESS/PV facilities.
• Support Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs.
• Adhere to safety, quality procedures and SOLV Energy policies.
