Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The job is remote with heavy travel to sites nationwide; interview will discuss location specifics.

Qualifications

• Must travel up to 75% of the time.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must understand hazards and mitigate with proper tools and procedures.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• CPR/First Aid training is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS, and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write and review complete test reports for the work performed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Possess ability to assess other technicians in safety and skill sets.
