Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This remote role travels to diverse job sites across the United States to perform acceptance testing and commissioning with a team. Responsibilities include entering test data into report software, following NETA standards, and upholding safety, quality, and client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Enter test data into test report software.
• Support completion of tests with Technicians and Trainees.
• Adhere to safety, quality procedures and company policies.
