Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel.

You will work with Technicians and Trainees, adhere to safety and quality procedures, and test equipment per NETA standards. Must have 1–3 years of electrician testing experience and the ability to travel 75%.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards
• Ability to travel 75% of time
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and safety conscious

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment
• Collaborate with Technicians and Trainees to complete jobs
• Follow NETA standards and safety procedures
