Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This remote role requires heavy travel to varying job sites nationwide and collaboration with Technicians and Trainees. You will perform acceptance testing, operate complex test equipment, enter data into test reports, and adhere to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work remote locations in varied weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS, and PV facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Enter test data into test report software.
• Coordinate with Technicians and Trainees to complete assignments.
