Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel to multiple job sites, requiring travel about 75% of the time.

You will perform acceptance testing, ensure safety, document results, and create comprehensive test reports. Strong English communication and the ability to work remotely across sites are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Demonstrated hazard recognition and mitigation with proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Maintain safe working environment and follow safety standards.
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble and review complete test reports and plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
