Job summary

Sharing Excess is seeking an HR Generalist, Recruiting to lead full-cycle recruitment across all hubs and departments, from warehouse to leadership roles. You will also backup on core HR operations, onboarding, HRIS updates, and compliance tasks, partnering with the HR Manager and Senior HR Generalist.

You will recruit for multiple states (PA, NY, IL, MI) and support travel to hub locations as needed while maintaining a candidate-focused, values-driven process.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience with both high-volume hourly hiring and professional roles.
• Knowledge of onboarding, I-9s, HRIS, and employee relations basics.
• Familiarity with employment law including fair chance and pay transparency.
• Experience recruiting in PA, NY, IL, or MI.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment across hubs and departments.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role needs and criteria.
• Source candidates via job boards, partners, colleges, referrals.
• Manage high-volume hourly hiring alongside professional searches.
• Coach managers on structured, inclusive interviewing.
• Maintain ATS and report recruiting metrics.
• Prepare offers and hand off to onboarding.
• Support onboarding, HR questions, and HRIS updates.
• Assist with compliance tasks and audit prep.
• Support offboarding and culture initiatives.
