Job summary

Sharing Excess Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist, Recruiting to own full-cycle recruiting across our hub markets from Philadelphia to Detroit. This remote role focuses on warehouse, driver, program leadership, and corporate hires, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience aligned with our mission.

You’ll split time with HR operations, onboarding, HRIS, and compliance tasks, partnering with the HR Manager and Senior HR Generalist to hand off hires smoothly and uphold our values.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in-house or agency.
• Experience with high-volume hourly hiring and professional or salaried searches.
• Working knowledge of onboarding, I-9s, HRIS, and employee relations basics.
• Familiarity with employment law as it applies to hiring, including pay transparency.

Responsibilities

• Own the hiring process end to end: intake meetings, postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, debriefs, references, offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role needs, interview plans, and selection criteria.
• Source candidates via job boards, community partners, colleges, and referrals with a local hub focus.
• Manage high-volume hourly hiring for warehouse, driver, and operations roles.
• Coach managers on structured, inclusive interviewing and ensure compliant processes.
• Maintain ATS and keep candidates informed at every stage.
• Prepare offer letters and hand off to onboarding smoothly.
• Track recruiting metrics: time to fill, pipeline health, source of hire.
• Keep careers page current and reflect mission and culture.
• Support annual hiring plan and stay aligned with budget.
