Job summary

embecta is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to support global HR processes from a fully remote home-based role in the United States. You will coordinate employee lifecycle activities, payroll validations, audits, vendor management, relocation and immigration administration, and HR projects across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR Operations, expertise with Workday or similar HRIS, and strong Excel/data management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS support, payroll operations, or a similar role.
• Three or more years of experience with Workday or another HRIS.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and employment documentation.
• Monitor HR operational requests and ensure they are assigned, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests, gather documentation, and track items through completion.
• Support HR reports, including validation of data and follow-up on discrepancies.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with external HR vendors, including questions, deliverables, invoices, and follow-up.
• Support the monthly HR Metrics process, including coordinating inputs and reporting, validating workforce data, preparing dashboard slides, and incorporating feedback.
• Support relocation and immigration administration, including document collection, case tracking, employee communication, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain project plans, trackers, action logs, timelines, and status updates for HR Operations initiatives, including year-end activities.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process documents, templates, checklists, and knowledge articles.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
