Job summary

CAI is offering an HR Intern role designed to support the Human Resources team with operations, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and HR project work. This full-time remote internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions for a junior student exploring a career in HR.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, demanding 40 hours per week during core business hours, with all work performed within the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through job shadowing across HR functional areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HRIS/People Analytics to gain a cross‑functional view of HR
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
• Support new hire onboarding, including documentation
• Support accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data retention policies
• Support data‑driven decision‑making by helping collect, organize, and analyze workforce data, including headcount, turnover, and engagement, and translate findings into clear reports for leadership
• Contribute to the development of content that highlights CAI's culture, career opportunities, and value proposition as an employer of choice
• Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, benefits, and training
• Support compliance tracking as needed
• Use AI‑powered HR tools
