Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across operations, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and HR projects. This hands-on internship is designed for a junior student exploring a career in HR and runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027 as a full-time, remote opportunity with 40 hours per week.

All work must be performed within the United States. Candidates should be pursuing an HR-related degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through job shadowing across HR functional areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HRIS/People Analytics to gain a cross-functional view of HR.
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support new hire onboarding, including documentation.
• Support accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data retention policies.
• Support data-driven decision-making by helping collect, organize, and analyze workforce data, including headcount, turnover, and engagement, and translate findings into clear reports for leadership.
• Contribute to the development of content that highlights CAI's culture, career opportunities, and value proposition as an employer of choice.
• Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, benefits, and training.
• Support compliance tracking as needed.
• Use AI-powered HR tools
