Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across operations, recruiting, onboarding, and talent development. This full-time, remote opportunity offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions and is ideal for a junior student exploring a career in human resources.

Dates are June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, requiring a 40-hour work week and availability during core business hours. All work must be performed within the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Junior student with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with AI tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through HR functional areas to gain a cross-functional view.
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support onboarding, including documentation.
• Maintain confidential employee records per data retention policies.
• Assist with data collection and reporting on headcount, turnover, and engagement.
