Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across operations, recruiting, onboarding, talent development, and HR projects. This remote, full-time internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, requiring 40 hours per week within US core hours for 9 weeks.

The role offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions for a junior student exploring a career in HR, with work performed in the United States.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Current junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Rotate through HR functions across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and HRIS/People Analytics.
Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
Support new hire onboarding, including documentation.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records per retention policies.
Help collect, organize, and analyze workforce data and translate findings into reports for leadership.
Contribute to CAI's employer branding and culture content.
Assist with HR projects related to engagement, benefits, and training.
Support compliance tracking as needed.
Use AI-powered HR tools.
