Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across recruiting, onboarding, development, and HR projects. This remote, full-time internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027 (9 weeks), requiring 40 hours per week.

All activities are performed within the United States. Candidates must be pursuing an HR-related degree, be a junior with a 3.5+ GPA, and show strong written and verbal communication, confidentiality, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through HR functional areas to gain a cross‑functional view of HR.
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support new hire onboarding, including documentation.
• Support accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data retention policies.
• Support data‑driven decision‑making by helping collect, organize, and analyze workforce data, including headcount, turnover, and engagement, and translate findings into clear reports for leadership.
• Contribute to the development of content that highlights CAI's culture, career opportunities, and value proposition as an employer of choice.
• Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, benefits, and training.
• Support compliance tracking as needed.
• Use AI‑powered HR tools.
