Job summary

Evlo AI in Boston is seeking an HR Generalist to own the full employee lifecycle in a fast-growing tech environment building cloud-based software and data products. You will manage onboarding, benefits, HRIS data, documentation, and day-to-day policy guidance, partnering with payroll, finance, and managers to deliver a consistent employee experience across a remote workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in HRIS and ATS; familiarity with common platforms.
• Hands-on experience managing onboarding, benefits enrollment, and payroll inputs.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and offboarding workflows in the HRIS, including employee records, access requests, documentation, and exit checklists
• Administer employee changes, benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and payroll inputs using systems such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar platforms
• Maintain accurate personnel data and reporting; audit HRIS records and produce headcount, turnover, and workforce reports for leadership
• Coordinate recruiting operations in the ATS, including requisition setup, interview logistics, background checks, offer documentation, and candidate status updates
• Respond to employee questions about policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and workplace processes while escalating sensitive issues appropriately
• Support performance review cycles, compensation processes, employee communications, and recurring people-program calendars
• Document and improve HR workflows using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and knowledge-base platforms
