Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the full employee lifecycle for a distributed tech organization. You will handle onboarding, benefits, performance programs, employee relations, and data administration, partnering with engineering, product, IT, and business teams to deliver compliant HR operations.

The role blends hands-on support with process improvements, using systems like Rippling or Workday, Greenhouse, Slack, and Google Workspace to manage workflows and workforce data.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive HR generalist or people-operations experience.
• Experience with benefits administration, leave management, and performance programs.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS such as Rippling or Workday, plus Slack and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and offboarding workflows across HRIS, payroll, benefits, IT access, and equipment-return processes.
• Administer employee records, job changes, leave tracking, and recurring people-process audits in Rippling, Workday, or a comparable HRIS.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and employee questions with brokers, payroll providers, and internal teams.
• Support performance-review cycles by maintaining timelines and communications; escalate when needed.
• Respond to questions on policies, leave, accommodations, and benefits while handling sensitive matters.
• Maintain people dashboards and reports on headcount, turnover, onboarding completion, engagement, and metrics.
• Improve HR processes by documenting SOPs and automating workflows across remote and hybrid teams.
