Job summary

CrewAI is seeking its first HR Operations Manager to own the systems, processes, and policies that let the company hire, pay, support, and grow its people quickly and safely.

You will build scalable HR infrastructure, including an HRIS, onboarding flow, payroll and benefits processes, and compliance guardrails, collaborating with leadership, finance, and legal to move fast without creating risk.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HR operations experience, preferably at a fast-growing startup.
• Hands-on HRIS ownership with payroll and benefits administration.
• Knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with sensitivity to data.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HR operations across a distributed, global workforce.
• Design onboarding and offboarding programs for a smooth first 30 days and compliant exits.
• Build and maintain HR policies and employee handbook content.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law as we scale.
• Partner with Finance on payroll accuracy, benefits invoicing, and headcount reporting.
• Turn people data into signal: build reporting and dashboards used by leadership.
