Job summary

InteLogix is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support California and other states in a remote capacity. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HR generalist experience, CA wage/hour knowledge, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. This exempt, full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years progressive HR experience, preferably generalist.
• 5+ years CA HR generalist experience incl. wage/hour rules and CFRA/PDL.
• Knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and CA employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; maintain policies and handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write/revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Support performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
