Job summary

InteLogix in the United States is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support California and other regions. The role focuses on employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HR generalist experience, CA wage-and-hour knowledge, and certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP. This full-time, exempt position offers a comprehensive benefits package and remote-friendly work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees.
• Working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; maintain employee handbook and policies.
• Develop department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Attend meetings and seminars; maintain HRIS records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes including disciplinary actions and PIPs.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
