Job summary

InteLogix is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations across multiple states with a primary focus on California. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance.

You will administer HR plans, write job descriptions, conduct orientations, manage records in HRIS, and ensure compliance with labor laws. This remote role invites candidates nationwide, with California expertise highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years supporting California employees, including CA wage and hour rules, CFRA/PDL, PAGA, and compliance.
• Knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and discretion with confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; update policies and employee handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations and maintain job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
