Job summary

Bizzell US, LLC is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to manage benefits, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, performance and talent management in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will partner with leaders, payroll, and accounting to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and timely communications. Government contracting experience is preferred, and the role supports remote work from New Carrollton, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD or related field; 4–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently with guidance from a manager.
• Experience with benefits administration and multi-site leave.
• Knowledge of global HR practices and local laws; HRIS and ATS experience.
• Strong communication and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Experience in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage benefits enrollment, termination, and change process; upload deductions to payroll.
• Administer FMLA/CFRA/PDL and other leave requests; monitor usage and forms.
• Collaborate with Leadership, HR, and Payroll to support HRIS structure and improvements.
• Keep leadership informed of risks and propose solutions.
• Assist end-users with access issues and data problems; test fixes.
• Ensure error-free payroll in collaboration with HR and accounting.
• Handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors with confidentiality.
• Maintain knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
• Support development and consistent application of company policies.
• Facilitate performance management; support compensation changes and promotions.
• Manage termination processes, COBRA matters, exit interviews, and separation agreements.
• Manage employee recognition programs; establish SOPs and disseminate documentation.
• Collaborate to automate recruitment, onboarding, merit, bonuses, and separations.
• Assist with ATS updates to streamline recruitment.
