Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced HR Data and Reporting Analyst to support HR Operations remotely. The role focuses on workforce reporting, data analysis, and operational insights across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning.

You will translate reporting needs into reliable reports and dashboards, validate data, monitor quality, and support audits. Strong Excel, SQL, and BI tools are required; experience with Workday reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing HR data and developing reports/dashboards for HR operations.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools, including custom reports and calculated fields.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with data validation.
• Experience with SQL and BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to assess reporting needs and deliver reliable dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports and calculated fields.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for system configuration or troubleshooting.
• Monitor data quality and support audits and compliance reporting.
• Analyze workforce trends and present findings clearly.
• Test and validate changes from a user perspective.
• Maintain data security and confidentiality; provide user guidance.
