Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an HR Data and Reporting Analyst for a remote contract role. The analyst will support HR Operations by creating reliable Workday reports, dashboards, and data insights across HR functions, ensuring data quality and confidentiality.

You will collaborate with HRIS and business stakeholders, translate reporting needs into actionable insights, and contribute to audits and compliance reporting. Strong Excel and BI skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing HR data and developing accurate reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools, including custom reports and calculated fields.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Familiarity with data governance, reporting documentation and quality-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to assess reporting needs and translate them into reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc Workday reports with calculated fields.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for system configuration, security changes, and integrations.
• Monitor data quality and drive issue resolution with HR teams.
• Analyze workforce trends and key HR metrics and present findings clearly.
• Support audits and compliance reporting and respond to time-sensitive data requests.
• Test and validate new reports from a business-user perspective.
• Maintain data security and provide user guidance for interpreting HR information.
