Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced HR Data and Reporting Analyst to support HR Operations on a remote, contract basis. You will manage workforce reporting across Workday HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and Learning, turning requirements into reliable reports and dashboards.

You will validate data, monitor quality, and collaborate with HRIS for system questions, while ensuring confidentiality and security of employee information. W2 and corp-to-corp options are available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience analyzing HR data and developing actionable reports for HR operations.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting tools, including custom reports and calculated fields.
• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, pivoting, lookups, and analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development.
• Familiarity with SQL and data governance concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to assess reporting needs and translate them into reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, including calculated fields as needed.
• Validate report logic and reconcile data across HR processes.
• Document report definitions, data sources, and controls.
• Coordinate with HRIS for system configuration and security changes.
• Monitor data quality and drive issue resolution with HR teams.
• Analyze workforce trends and present findings clearly.
• Support audits and time-sensitive data requests.
• Test and validate new reports from a business-user perspective.
• Maintain data security and provide guidance on interpreting HR data.
