Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Compliance Manager to lead our HR compliance program and policy ownership across a multi-state workforce. The role partners with HR, Onboarding, HRIS, Talent Development, and Legal to reduce risk and keep CAI audit-ready in a dynamic regulatory environment.

The successful candidate will drive regulatory research, reporting, and training, while aligning with business leaders and governance on AI-related employment laws and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, legal studies, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of progressive HR compliance or employment law experience across multiple states.
• Two or more years of experience managing people and drafting policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own the HR compliance program and policies, with annual reviews and employee acknowledgment.
• Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws and advise on policy changes.
• Prepare and submit workforce reports and affirmative action plans; support audits and client questionnaires.
• Own background checks, drug screens, and MVR standards and adjudication framework.
