North Healthcare is seeking a Coder I to review, analyze and code diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for reimbursement. You will assign codes, follow guidelines and query physicians for ambiguous information to ensure accurate coding.

The position is fully remote, but requires residency in select states to be eligible. You will collaborate with the coding team to meet departmental and organizational goals while maintaining compliance and timeliness.

Qualificações

• One year hospital coding in healthcare setting.
• One of: CCA, CCS, CIC-ICD, COC, CPC, RHIA, RHIT.

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze and code diagnostic and procedural information using ICD-10-CM and CPT coding for reimbursement.
• Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM/CPT codes following regulatory guidelines.
• Query physicians for diagnoses or missing/ambiguous information.
• Apply knowledge of coding guidelines and medical necessity for ethical reimbursement.
• Code and abstract records across multiple care settings consistently and timely.
