Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a Medical Coding Specialist for a remote role across the United States. You will review records, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT IV, and HCPCS codes, and ensure compliance with AHIMA, CMS, and facility guidelines. Prior coding experience and AHIMA/AAPC certification are valued.

Requires ability to work independently, use 3M encoder/CAC, and stay current with evolving coding standards. Role includes benefits and opportunities for certifications and tuition support.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification: CPC-A, CPC, CCA or CCS.
• 1 year of coding experience preferred and remote-work capability.

Responsabilidades

• Review medical records and assign ICD-9-CM/ICD-10, CPT IV, and HCPCS codes.
• Abstract required data per facility specifications and ensure clinical validity.
• Perform medical necessity checks for Medicare and other payers.
• Monitor and work accounts that are Discharged Not Final Billed and related issues.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards; adhere to coding guidelines.
• Stay updated on CMS/NCD/LCD guidelines for claim submission accuracy.
• Attend meetings and complete annual learning programs for growth.
